Parents, guardians, carers, grandparents, emergency Aunties and responsible adults of Northumberland... this is not a drill.
This is your reminder that you can handle whatever this Half Term holiday throws at you. Remember, there are no school runs, no early morning arguments about the putting on of shoes and no uniforms to wash.
But, we know, we hear you. Whatever will we do to keep the precious little darlings occupied? Where will we go? How much will it cost? Well now, that's where we come in. We know we've said it before but we'll say it again. In fact, as long as we live and breathe, we will never stop saying it.
Come. To. The. Library.
It's free. It's safe. It's welcoming. We have books and comfy chairs. We have computers. We have Wifi. We have crafts. We have warm and cosy buildings where you can spend as much time as you like without having to explain yourself to anyone. We have actual real-life superheroes with magical powers (also known as Library Assistants). And, we have activities galore, including exciting workshops as part of this year's Big Draw Festival.
