Hackings Caravan Park

Hackings Caravan Park Holiday Home Park You will find yourself surrounded by friendly, like-minded people who create a real ‘community’ feel.

For those who seek peace and tranquillity in a delightful country setting this is the ideal location, set in 20 acres of mature parkland in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley. Our park is personally supervised by ourselves, (Wendy, Linden and Wendy) as resident owners and our sole aim is to ensure that your holiday home is enjoyable and carefree.

Last spring, our holiday home owners were sending in brilliant wildlife clips from around the park — foxes wandering through at dusk, otters on the river, deer and ducklings. 🦊🦌

Anyone spotted anything recently in the park?

If you’ve managed to catch any local wildlife on camera while out and about at Hackings, stick it in the comments below. 👇🏻

Spring Bank Holiday weekend is almost here and, for once, the weather forecast is looking absolutely glorious. ☀️

Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning coffee, a good book or simply a little peace and shade away from the sunshine, our woodland walk is looking particularly beautiful right now. Take your pick of shady spots and enjoy the long weekend at your own pace. 🌿

Here’s to a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend at Hackings.

A huge thank you to Lisa at No.120 for capturing this incredible double rainbow stretching right across the park. 🌈🌈

Spring showers might test the patience sometimes, but every now and again they give us a view like this.

Thanks again Lisa for sharing such an amazing video with us all. 😊

A big welcome to the new owners of The Langham Show Home here at Hackings Holiday Home Park. 🤩

The Langham has now been carefully moved into a beautiful new spot right alongside the river, and we’re delighted to say its new owners will hopefully be settling in before the end of the month.

We’re sure they’re going to love waking up to the sound of the water and the peaceful surroundings that make Hackings so special. From all of us here at the park, wishing you a very warm welcome. 👏

We were really pleased to host the Holiday and Residential Parks Association North West Branch May Meeting here at Hackings last week.

After a tour of the park in wonderful weather and Pendle Hill views looking particularly good, everyone headed back for lunch kindly put together by Wendy, Linden & Darren.

A big thank you to everyone who came along, it was lovely to welcome you all to Hackings and a super day put on by HARPA

Three years ago this is what it was all about. 🇬🇧

The Coronation of King Charles III gave us the excuse for a great party in the park, but it was the people that made it. Smiles, a few drinks, plenty of chatting, and an afternoon to remember.

What a lovely day, done right, with everyone making the most of it. That’s the Hackings community.

Three years ago, the park was in full swing getting ready for the Coronation of King Charles III. 🇬🇧

Marquee, flags and bunting right across the park, everyone doing their bit to get things looking right. Weather was doing its usual, but it didn’t stop us. Kettle on, a good tidy up, and we were ready to celebrate.

Doesn’t feel like three years ago now.

Wow - that fresh, vivid green from the new leaves and blues from Bluebells is hard to miss — catches your eye and stops you in your tracks for a moment.

The park and landscape has shifted quickly, but it’s in the woodland where it feels most noticeable right now. 🌳

Up on the hill, just by the bee hives and our little freshwater habitat… and this is what you get. 👌🏼

Looking out over the park with the Pendle Hills sat on the horizon, not bad for a wander before your morning brew.

Hackings on a spring day – simple, peaceful, just as it should be.

It's St George’s Day and it’s a good excuse to think about what’s for tea.

With it being British Beef Week, you can’t go wrong with something proper. Leave that side of things to S R Hallworth – they’ll sort you out.

Bit of sunshine about… BBQ thoughts creeping in, but we’ll not get ahead of ourselves 😄 🥶
