A number of the town's pubs are set to come together this weekend to host various bands and musical artists alongside their signature offerings of sweet, sweet nectar and delicious grub. The weather is even forecast to play ball - but don't say that too loudly, just in case you scare it away!! 💚🍻🌯🎵

Beer, food and music across multiple Clitheroe venues this weekend. 💚

Venue collab this bank holiday weekend with many Clitheroe bars and pubs providing live music from great acts. The Beer Shack have from 6-8pm on Friday 1st May, from 6-8pm on Saturday 2nd and Brother-Bastion Tharpe from 2-4pm on Sunday. We will be lighting up the BBQ on Saturday afternoon too. Let's hope for glorious sunshine 🌞 🍺🎶🌞🍺🎶

Owing to staff illness, Raffia will be closed tomorrow (Sunday 29th March). This means that anyone wanting an entry form for the Easter Bunny Trail, will need to collect it from La Tete et Tout. They will be open 11am - 3pm.

The fabulous Easter Wishing Tree will make its triumphant return to Clitheroe during the upcoming school holidays as part of the "Eggstravaganza". With any luck, it will also bring the sunshine with it! ☀️ The event takes place on the 4th and 5th April in the castle grounds. Check out the Glitterball socials for more info, and if you're quick, there is a chance to win free entry. 🐣

Not around for that weekend? Do not panic, the Chamber of Trade have got you covered. There will be an Easter Trail taking place through the town from this coming weekend* until April 11th. Maps will be available from on Moor Lane and on King Street (please check their respective opening hours). 🐰

The ever-popular Clitheroe Beer Festival lands back in town this May, and the organisers are putting out a final call for any individuals or businesses that may wish to sponsor a cask at the event. If you are interested, please email [email protected] 🍻

The popular returns on March 1st. 🎨 A joint venture that seeks to showcase local talent in the town's established galleries and temporary spaces, it has become an important part of Clitheroe's cultural schedule. Volunteers needed for the popular Christmas Day Parkrun. Contact the orgsnisers if you can help out. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are pleased to confirm that we are planning to hold a Christmas Day parkrun at Clitheroe Castle this year.

This will be at the usual time of 9.00 am on Thursday December 25th 2025

Last year proved very popular with a record turnout so we’re hoping many of you will again choose to join your parkrun family to kickstart your Christmas Day festivities with a 5K walk, jog or run!

We will still need a full volunteer team for the event to take place so please get in touch soon if you can help, so that we have a full roster a few weeks ahead of Christmas Day.

What is your favourite Blueberries Cafe Clitheroe dish? I'm partial to their broth and dumplings. Also, fun fact, my mother-in-law (who is intolerant to a list of ingredients as long as your arm!) regularly claims she has never had her dietary requirements better catered for than at Blueberries. ❤️
