In the book of Esther.....I wonder....
if Mordecai sent a message to us today, like he sent to Esther, would it sound a little like this.....
'Don't think that just because you are living in a safe environment, in your own little world, that you will be exempt from being asked what you did with the responsibility and authority you have been given by God.
If you continue to remain silent, deliverance will come but God will choose someone else and you and your family will not receive the rewards and blessings.
Who knows?
Maybe you have been chosen to be right where you are, in this position, for such a time as this!

To the person who is struggling to keep going….

I know you feel like you’re wading through a thick murky swamp right now.
Each step you take
Each stride you strain to make
- is such hard work.
You know you won’t drown
because the water is only waist deep,
unless…. you stop striding
unless you lose the strength to keep going,
unless you stop,
unless you give up.
Then, it won’t matter how deep the water is.
But I also know….
You’re not planning on giving up,
even though you’re so tired.
I know it feels like this arduous journey will last forever.
But I want you to know - that’s A LIE!
Every journey comes to an end.
Every chapter eventually finishes.
Every season moves forward into a new one.
So, keep taking one step at a time
Even if that step is a small one.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
Don’t give up.

Just breathe.
Sounds simple doesn’t it?
But it’s not.
Ask anyone who has suffered with anxiety or panic attacks, they’ll tell you how difficult it is to calm down and just breathe.
Maybe, just maybe, we might find it a little easier if we saw this statement ’Just Breathe’ as a prayer instead of an instruction.
When anxiety takes over, or
When panic peaks….
Pray,
‘God, please, ‘just breathe’ over me.
Just breathe your breath of life into me.’

And He has given us no reason not to.

Do you sometimes feel not very special?
Did you know….
God chose you!
Yep, out of everyone -He chose you!
Then He called you by name.
He pursued you when you wandered off.
He led you back to where you needed to be.
He held on to you.
He kept you safe.
And the other best thing ever….
He's gonna keep doing it
All the days of your life.
He is such a good and loving Father 🙌

What’s it going to take for you to get serious about God again?
What do you need to happen before you’ll follow Him with all your heart?
Has He not done enough for you already?
Ask God to show you where He’s been throughout your life, even in the dark times, especially the dark times.
When you ask Him this question, wait for Him to respond, and don’t be in a rush.
Be prepared for His response to turn your heart around.

In the middle of life’s storms I have often wondered what good could possibly come from this?
If there is beauty to be found in every storm, and if we won’t find the beauty unless we look for it….
Then, what kind of beauty am I looking for exactly?
Personally, I firstly need to ask the Lord to open my eyes to see as He sees.
He then reveals where the ‘beauty’ resides.
Sometimes it’s in an ACT OF KINDNESS from someone.
Sometimes it’s being FILLED with insurmountable PEACE, or JOY, for no good reason, or I might feel supernaturally COMFORTed.
Other times it could be an ENCOURAGING and reassuring MESSAGE from a devotion, from God’s Word, or from someone who cares.
And at times, God has amazingly revealed the beauty as a MESSAGE THROUGH CREATION.
I’d love to hear what beauty you have discovered when life is not so stunning.
