It’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Congress must urge the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to expedite the release of all congressionally approved Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) and Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) funding.

These delays are putting survivor services at risk—forcing programs to consider staff cuts, reduced services, and even closures in some regions. Survivors can’t wait.
