Children's Advocacy Centers of Pennsylvania and CAC leaders from across the Commonwealth are heading to the Capitol on Tuesday, June 2, to advocate for H.B. 2443, legislation that would begin closing the $14.5 million funding gap CACs face statewide.

CACs currently operate with an average $300,000 annual shortfall per center, even as they provide essential investigative coordination and trauma‑informed support to children from the moment child abuse is suspected.

H.B. 2443, introduced by Rep. Kyle Mullins and PA State Rep. Jim Rigby, would create a Child Victim Recovery Fund supported by fees paid by child sexual abuse offenders — not taxpayers. It is projected to generate $3–4 million annually.

📅 Join us at 2pm in the East Wing Rotunda for a press conference where CAC leaders and their multidisciplinary partners will highlight the life-changing work they do and the need for additional stable, sustainable funding.

What an incredible day at our 2nd Annual Golf Outing last Friday! ⛳️☀️

With beautiful weather, great food, and an amazing community of supporters coming together for a cause that matters, the day could not have been more special.

Because of our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event possible, we are thrilled to share that we raised $15,780 in support of the York County CAC and the children and families we serve.

We are beyond grateful for every sponsorship, raffle donation, registration, volunteer, staff, and encouraging word that contributed to the success of this event. Your support helps us continue providing hope, healing, and advocacy to children throughout York County.
