Today at Ocean County College, I presented a workshop for colleagues on student authorship and ethical AI use.

Using a guided student simulation, we looked at AI through the student experience to discuss where the gaps can be between faculty expectations, course policies, and actually teaching students what authorship and responsible AI use look like. It led to meaningful dialogue about how we can better support students.

AI is already part of the world our students are navigating. That doesn’t mean we have to promote its use but we do have a responsibility to teach students how to make thoughtful, safe, and ethical choices when they encounter it.

These are conversations I value professionally and perspectives I bring to my role on the Board of Education.

🚨 **THE DATA IS IN: MORE LEGAL CARRY = LESS CRIME** 🚨

When the Supreme Court’s *Bruen* decision came down, Trenton Democrats warned us that allowing law-abiding citizens to carry fi****ms would turn New Jersey into the "Wild West".

Well, four years later, the facts are in—and the Wild West never showed up.

Here is what actually happened:
📉 The number of New Jerseyans with concealed carry permits skyrocketed from just 1,212 in 2022 to over 57,000 in 2025

📉 And the result? Violent crime FELL, and the murder rate DROPPED

Despite this clear evidence that law-abiding citizens exercising their Second Amendment rights aren’t the problem, Trenton is still wasting your tax dollars fighting in federal court.

Federal courts keep pushing back, yet Trenton refuses to listen. It’s time for New Jersey to stop punishing law-abiding gun owners and start respecting the Constitution
