Our well water is our drinking water.

I live in Shelter Cove section of Toms River. In November 2022, water tests confirmed high volume of tetrachloroethylene, a known carcinogen. We couldn’t cook with it, drink it, or bathe in it.

Months later our water is now treated with a system paid for by the EPA, as groundwater contamination in Toms River is covered by the Spill Fund.
But more should be done by the municipality to aid and assist individuals in this same situation, to help expedite the process, as it is frightening to discover!

Come January 2024, as your Toms River Councilwoman at Large, I will make this safety and quality of life issue a priority.

As a Toms River council candidate I have addressed several groups, responded to the Patch questions in the primary, and again just recently Patch and the Toms River Times. How insulting to all of us when the Rodrick council candidates have really nothing to say beyond what is listed in the 2/3 sentences contained in their flyers.

My friends, if they don’t have the respect for you to answer a few questions, they don’t deserve your vote!!!!!
