📣Economic Development Update 📣

Exciting progress continues in Wharton County as Amazon Web Services (AWS) moves forward with its planned data center investment in our area.

This significant investment represents more than a new development--its reflects the growing opportunites, infrastructure, and economic potential of the Wharton area. As activity moves forward, the project is expected to bring construction activity, long-term employment opportunities, and additional economic impact to our region.

Wharton Economic Development is pleased to share this project update as we continue working to position Wharton as a place where businesses, industries, and investment can grow.
