IAFF Local F-7 West Point Professional Firefighters

This morning, members of the West Point Fire Department had the honor of assisting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation with its Steel Across America journey.

The Foundation is traveling across the country with a piece of steel recovered from the South Tower of the World Trade Center, accompanied by a traveling museum. The journey will culminate at the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel near Ground Zero on the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

We were honored to play a small part in this meaningful journey and to help carry on the promise to Never Forget. 🇺🇸

IAFF Local F-7 is holding a special fundraiser to raise childhood cancer awareness and support a family deeply rooted in our department.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will directly support retired Assistant Chief John Defrancesco and his family whose daughter is currently battling leukemia.

John has given years of dedicated service to the community, the West Point Fire Department and Local F 7. It’s our turn to have his family's back.

Important Announcement regarding the IAFF Local F-7 Annual Golf Outing

After a lot of careful consideration, IAFF Local F-7 has made the difficult decision to no longer hold our annual golf outing.

Due to recent increases in venue pricing and changes in tournament rules, we realized we would have to significantly raise ticket prices to host the event. We feel it would be unfair to ask our supporters to pay an inflated price, and the constraints would ultimately prevent us from putting on the event you all deserve.

We want to extend a massive thank you to every golfer, sponsor, and volunteer (especially Micky Lee) who has supported this fundraiser through the years. Your generosity has meant the world to our local, and we look forward to finding new ways to connect in the future.

Station 1’s crew got a welcome visitor today. IAFF General President Edward A. Kelly was in the area and stopped by to check in on the brothers.
We were able to talk and get him a department shirt and some coins, for his collection.
