CFE is proud to endorse Darya Farivar for Washington State House in District 46-Position 2. Rep. Farivar won the August 4th primary and will be uncontested in the November 3rd, general election.

As a legislator, Rep. Farivar has been a leading voice in community safety, access to democracy, and healthcare reform. As Vice Chair of the Civil Rights and Judiciary Committee, she’s advancing legislation to protect reproductive rights, regulate fi****ms, and address police accountability. Farivar is a proud atheist.

Don’t let the name fool you: there is nothing “modern” about the Military Chaplains Modernization Act. 🚩

Tucked inside the House-passed defense bill (NDAA) and now in the Senate, this proposal guts an over 200-year mission. It allows government-paid chaplains to refuse care, proselytize, and impose their personal beliefs on service members, harming non-religious troops, religious minorities, and 'mainstream' religious service members alike.

CFE PAC is proud to endorse Eric Morrison for re-election to the Delaware State House, District 27. Morrison has represented District 27 since 2020.

Before serving in the legislature, he worked as an educator and technical writer, and spent time working on Medicaid, Medicare, and other essential health programs. In office, he's focused on giving residents the resources and information they need to engage in their community and drive real change. Morrison is an open humanist and atheist, and CFE PAC is proud to support his campaign.

Military chaplains have had one job for over 200 years: to support every service member, no matter their faith. But a new bill in Congress would let chaplains refuse to help service members whose beliefs don't match their own, or worse, proselytize instead of counsel. This is a grave violation of the

Incumbent Joey Andrews is running for re-election to the Michigan State House in District 38. Andrews has secured funding for vital studies and projects, safeguarding the region's natural resources and has helped foster major economic developments in Michigan. We could not be more proud to endorse and support him.

Rep. Andrews is religiously unaffiliated.

The separation of church and state protects religious freedom. It safeguards your constitutional right to practice any religion, or none at all, free from government interference. The Charlie Kirk Christian Curricula Bills do the opposite, putting your rights in jeopardy.

On July 23, 2026 Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche published the “Federal Law Protections for Religious Liberty.”

This memo instructs federal agencies to treat excluding religious schools from grants and funding programs as presumptively unconstitutional discrimination – which would take public dollars from public schools.

Now, it is more important than ever to act and protect secular schools.
