The Library will be OPEN Friday, October 30th, at 9am!

Thank you for your patience and understanding during our temporary closure. We’re pleased to share that the Library will re-open tomorrow, and we look forward to welcoming you back! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this closure has caused and are grateful for your continued support while we worked to address the flooding and complete the necessary remediation to safely re-open.

With our re-opening, the following will resume:
- All Library Programs will resume as planned beginning tomorrow, Friday, October 30th. Programs cancelled during the closure will be rescheduled if possible.
- The Board of Trustees meeting will take place tomorrow, Friday, October 30th, at 3pm.
- All hold services will resume. Holds that were extended during the closure will be available according to their updated pickup dates.
- No fines have been accrued during our closing. We encourage you to return any items due during the closure in a timely manner and we’ll do our best to work with you regarding your returns.

Please note: Our water fountains and public restrooms on the lower floor remain out of commission and will not be available when the Library re-opens. However, the Library has two private restrooms available to the public on our upper floor.

We’re happy to welcome everyone back and thank you again for your patience, flexibility, and support throughout this process. We look forward to seeing you at the Library soon!

The Library will remain closed through Thursday, October 29, due to remediation efforts from the flooding that happened in the building this past weekend.

We're very grateful for your enduring patience and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes our community. Please know that Library Staff, Library Board Members, and the Service Providers involved in this remediation process are all working hard to get the Library back to "Open" status.

In the meantime, please note the following:
- All Library Programs scheduled for October 29 have been cancelled and will be rescheduled if possible.
- The Board of Trustees meeting has been rescheduled for Friday, October 30, at 3pm.
- All holds will be extended until the Library re-opens.
- All overdue fines will be waived for items due during the closure, including books, video games, Museum Passes, and Library of Things items.
- Although the building must remain closed, our Wi-Fi is still accessible outdoors on Library Grounds. Please note though: we do not currently have public bathroom access.
The Library's collections were not damaged by the flooding!

We will provide another update on Thursday afternoon, October 29, regarding the Library's re-opening status.

Library Closure Update: October 26–28

The Library will remain closed through at least Wednesday, October 28, due to flooding and ongoing cleanup and restoration efforts. We're happy to share that the Library's collections were not damaged by the flooding! We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work toward reopening safely.

In the meantime, please note the following updates:
- All library programs scheduled for October 26–28 have been cancelled.
- Tuesday's Board of Trustees meeting has been cancelled.
- All holds will be extended until the Library reopens.
- All overdue fines will be waived for items due during the closure, including books, video games, Museum Passes, and Library of Things items.

A friendly reminder for early voters: The Library is not an early voting location. Early voting in Warwick takes place at the Warwick Senior Center, 132 Kings Highway. For additional details, please visit Orange County's Early Voting Information page.

We will provide another update on Wednesday afternoon, October 28, regarding the Library's reopening status.

Join us for an interactive presentation by artist Jonathan Talbot, whose works have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and the National Academy in New York, represented the United States in exhibitions sponsored by the State Department and the Smithsonian Institution, and are held in museum collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. In recognition of his distinguished career, Talbot received the prestigious Medici Medal for Career Achievement at the 2001 Florence Biennale.
