The Kosciusko County Emergency Management Agency is dedicated to help our community mitigate, prepare, respond, and recover from either a manmade or natural disaster. If you are a group from a church, neighborhood, business, or any other service group call for information.

It will be a great night to open up windows as temperatures drop into the mid 40s to low 50s! Monday will be pleasant with highs in the 70s with comfortable humidity. Hot and humid Tuesday with 40-70% chances for rain/storms, including a Marginal Risk for isolated damaging winds.

Chances (20-30%) for rain showers this afternoon, with a rumble of thunder possible. Otherwise, dry and breezy with northwest winds gusting to 20-25 mph this afternoon. Highs in the 70s and low 80s. Cooler Monday with highs in the upper 60s, low 70s. Lows tonight-Mon night in the 50s, low 60s. Warmer Tue with chances for showers and storms (30-60 percent) in the afternoon-evening. There is a marginal risk for isolated severe storms at that time. The main threat would be damaging winds. Low confidence. Highs will be in the 80s, low 90s Tue.

Lingering showers will end by this evening, with patchy fog possible overnight. There will be a chance of storms Sunday, with mostly sunny skies Monday. Temperatures will be a bit above normal.

We still have several opportunities for rain/storms in the next 7 days, but fall is typically when we start to see a transition towards drier weather. The NOAA NWS Climate Prediction Center is favoring drier than normal conditions across the entire Great Lakes region from September 19-25.

There are chances for showers (20-60%) and thunderstorms (20-30%) today, with the best chances along and south of US 24. Further north and west expect variable cloud cover and dry conditions. Mostly dry Sunday except a 20-40 percent chance for showers and storms between 2-8 pm ET. Cooler and dry Monday with increasing clouds in the afternoon. Severe weather is not expected at this time.
