Every student deserves a strong foundation in reading. We believe in supporting the programs already doing that work well, like the Center for Literacy & Learning at Grace College, where small-group tutoring is helping kids across Warsaw Community elementary schools build real skills and real confidence.

Having strong reading skills is important because literacy is the foundation for so much in our lives. We believe in supporting the programs who are helping kids build a firm reading foundation.

The Center for Literacy & Learning at Grace College trains students through hands-on career training, working in small groups with kids across Warsaw Community elementary schools.

This year, that means 3rd grade after-school tutoring to help kids pass Indiana's IREAD assessment, and kindergarten boost groups building early reading skills before gaps can grow. In total, the program reaches around 70 students at little to no cost to their families.

United Way of Whitley & Kosciusko Counties has been proud to stand as a Pathway Partner with the Center for many years. Seeing the work Rachael Hoffert, Megan Smith, and their team are doing made it an easy yes again this year.

We believe in what they're doing for our community. And so, we were honored to present a $20,000 grant to the Center.

STEM Night at Little Turtle Elementary tonight. Kids and their parents at every station, building, testing, figuring things out side by side. It was awesome!

Over 600 kids get access to nights like this twice a year, completely free for every family.

We got to hand over $1,600 to help keep it that way.

And yes, there was a K9 with a pink mohawk who stole the whole photo. Not mad about it.

Last night Live Well Kosciusko, Bowen Health, and Inspire Indiana showed up at the Warsaw football game to talk about mental health. They made it a lot of fun and interactive with games, sunglasses and other prizes, and a wheel where you answer questions about mental health to win. There were kids and parents everywhere!!!

Probably one of the best parts about giving grants is getting to see them used to bring the community together.

We support Beaman Home because of their work providing shelter, crisis intervention, support services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Can't wait for their Bingo for Beaman night on October 15! We're proud to be a Purple Dauber Sponsor this year.

If you're free that evening, come play for a good cause!!! Doors open at 5 at Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.

Kindergarten just out-gave all of us!

This is Jasmine’s daughter, Aaliyah. She decided her lemonade stand money should go to her school, to help other kids.

We can’t take any credit here, we just loved it too much not to share.

Well done, Aaliyah!!!

We were so honored to recently accept a donation from one of our very own Blazers! Kindergartener Aaliyah Gutierrez selflessly chose to give all her earnings ($300!!) from her summer Lemonade Stand to her school. We are so thankful to have such generous and kind students here at Leesburg!
