Reminder, Trick or Treat night in the Borough of Walnutport will be on Wednesday October 28 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. If you are driving through the borough, please drive extremely slow and be cautious of people crossing and walking on the street.

If you are out trick or treating, stop by the Police Department to say hi and get some sweet treats. We will have someone handing out candy at the police department again this year. There will also be an officer, in a patrol car, driving around and handing out to the kids while he is on patrol.

🚧FYI🚧: My Slatington office has received multiple phone calls regarding construction signage near the Main Street bridge that spans the Lehigh River and connects Slatington and Walnutport.

PennDOT will be completing structural reinforcement work on the bridge starting Monday, Aug. 3. All work will be done at night and is expected to last a week. There will be no traffic redirection, however, during work hours, the bridge will be reduced to one lane with workers flagging traffic through on both sides.
