From our very own Syracuse Corvette Club member Jeff Lyman from today’s races at the SVR Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International:

Corvettes had a very successful SVRA race at WGI today. Out of a 35 race car group and 3 classes of Corvettes C3’s -C6’s they won 1st-3rd in 3 classes! Our #77 managed a 1st in class and 3rd overall with the fastest lap time.

Heid's of Liverpool & Sweet Treats held their monthly Corvette Cruise-In this afternoon. Despite the rainy forecast, 18 members in 8 Corvettes (and 5 daily drivers) attended. Next month will be the last Corvette Cruise-In of the season on October 11th from 4:30-7:00pm. Hopefully we will have some decent weather that day so we can get some more Corvettes out there!
