The time to address housing needs is now! 🏘️ Earlier today, County Executive Ryan McMahon and Deputy County Executive of Economic Development & Planning Billy Barlow joined community partners, developers, and municipalities at the CNY Housing Summit to discuss housing solutions in Onondaga County.

As our community prepares for transformational growth, it is imperative we plan for our future housing needs and we are doing just that! Onondaga County is taking a proactive role in addressing our community's housing needs through targeted financial programs that help bride financial gaps and stimulate private investment.

In 2025, we permitted 1,700+ new housing units which has not been seen since the 1990s! We are moving beyond identifying housing challenges and delivering results to meet our community's needs. 💪 Learn more about some of our programs at https://onondaga.gov/cd/.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event! 👏

Congratulations Robin! Wishing you a happy and well-deserved retirement. ❤️💛💚

Please join me in celebrating Robin C**n as she begins her well earned retirement after many dedicated years with Onondaga County. Robin has been a steady source of kindness, passion, and guidance, and her commitment to our agricultural community has left a lasting mark. She helped our farms grow stronger and played a key role in the Onondaga Grown program and in shaping ON Farm Fest into what it is today - this year welcoming more than 10,000 visitors.

Robin’s care and dedication have touched so many people, and her impact will continue to be felt for years to come. Wishing her all the joy and fulfillment in this next chapter. Happy retirement!
