Feeding early can help make breastfeeding easier.

Babies show signs when they are ready to eat. Look for early hunger signs like:
• Rooting (turning head toward the chest or breast)
• Bringing hands to mouth
• Puckering or smacking lips

Crying is often a late hunger sign. Your baby may need help calming before they can latch.

If you’re having s*x without protection (condoms, oral dams, or lubricant), it’s a good idea to get tested for STIs every 3 to 6 months. You should also get tested if you or a partner are noticing symptoms, or if someone you’ve had s*x with recently tested positive.

Even if you use protection consistently, getting tested at least once a year is still recommended to stay on top of your health.

The Sexual Wellness Center offers walk-in, low- to no-cost STI testing and treatment. Testing may include a urine sample, swabs, or a blood draw—quick, simple, and confidential.
