Today, Sunrise Fire Rescue joined Pompano Beach, Davie, BSO, Hollywood, and Fort Lauderdale agencies for a large-scale Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) and HazMat training exercise.

These realistic drills strengthen coordination, communication, and response capabilities between neighboring departments when every second counts. From hazardous materials mitigation to patient triage and rescue operations, this hands-on training helps ensure our crews are prepared for complex emergency situations.

Thank you to all participating agencies and personnel who helped make this exercise a success through teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to public safety.
