Be water smart this summer! Make water safety a priority by being a "water watcher," and provide close and constant attention to children you are supervising. Avoid distractions such as cell phones. Remember - even if a lifeguard is present, you, or another responsible adult should stay with and watch your children. 👀

The team recently met with Tim Curtin, Vice President of Community Services at Memorial Healthcare System, to learn more about the impactful work being done through Memorial's Community Youth Services programs.

Through CSC funding, these programs provide critical support to children, youth, and families across Broward County—from family strengthening and maternal mental health services to kinship support, youth development, trauma-informed care, and programs that help young people successfully transition into adulthood.

We're proud to partner with organizations that are helping build stronger families, safer communities, and brighter futures for Broward's children.

This morning, CSC Broward joined community leaders, law enforcement, elected officials, and nonprofit partners for a press conference announcing the rollout of a multi-agency partnership, led by LifeNet4Families, that will distribute 400,000 free Child ID Kits to families across South Florida.

During the press conference, CSC President & CEO Cindy Arenberg Seltzer emphasized the importance of prevention, preparedness, and providing families with the tools they need to protect their children.

These free kits allow parents and caregivers to document each child's fingerprints, DNA, photograph, and physical description, information that can be shared with law enforcement if a child ever goes missing, and every second counts.

Together with our partners, we are taking proactive steps to strengthen child safety and community preparedness for children and families.

📦 To request your free Child ID Kit, visit LifeNet4Families at ln4f.org.
