We are excited to announce our “New but not New” Math Coach, Mrs. Jolie Roberts.

She has been a part of our family for many years but has a new role.
This year Mrs. Roberts will work with all of our teachers and students to improve mathematical understanding and skills. We can’t wait to utilize her knowledge to support our teachers and help them integrate new tools and approaches into their classrooms.

We are excited to add a few new yet familiar faces to our SES family.

My name is Jordan Edmondson, and I am so excited to finally be a part of Southside Elementary School. I completed my student teaching at SES in first grade, and I knew that this school would always be home to me. I grew up in Southside, and I attended John Jones, Rainbow Middle, and Southside High School. I was a Varsity cheerleader all four years, and I graduated in 2022. I also attended Jacksonville State University, where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education. I was a member of the Phi Mu sorority, and I graduated in the spring of 2026. My hobbies include shopping, exercising, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and friends. My goals as a first-year teacher are to build positive relationships with my future students, to create a safe and welcoming learning environment, and to impact numerous lives that will honor and glorify God alone. I am so excited to finally return home! Go Panthers!!!🐾❤️

We are excited to add a few new yet familiar faces to our SES family.

Hi! I’m Autumn Hamm, and I’m excited to be joining SES as a 2nd grade teacher. I just finished my 7th year teaching, three at Lincoln elementary and four at Glencoe Elementary. I received my bachelor’s and masters degree from JSU. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy camping, traveling-specifically to Disney World, and spending time with my family and friends! I’m excited to be back home at Southside and look forward to a great school year! Go panthers!

We are excited to add some new yet familiar faces to our SES family….

Hi! I’m Mollie Free, and I’m excited to be joining SES as a 5th grade teacher. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy Pilates, traveling, spending time with my family, and cuddling with my two dachshunds, Penny and Piper. I’m excited to be back home at Southside and look forward to a great school year!
