Nature: Trash chute fire
On the above date and time Companies one and three of the Shelton Fire department responded to the address provided for multiple fire alarm detectors activated. Upon arrival cruise entered the building and noticed a slight smoke condition on the 10th and 12th floors of the 17 story high-rise building. As crews continued to investigate, additional members located a small fire in a trash bin in the basement. Squad 1, truck 3, engines 23,35, 2, 42, ladder 51, Car 6, and Rescue 45 operated under the command of Assistant Chief Ryan Mattioli. The building is habitable and there were no injuries reported. The Fire Marshal‘s office is investigating the incident.
