Calling all artists! 🎨

The Seguin Public Library Art Committee is now accepting submissions for our Fall/Winter 2026-2027 Rotating Art Exhibit, on display October 26, 2026 through February 24, 2026.

This exhibit celebrates the power of art to enrich our community, showcase local talent, and inspire creativity. Artists may submit up to three pieces for consideration.

📅 Submission Deadline: September 28, 2026

Requirements: • Up to 3 artwork submissions • Photos of artwork (front and back) • Completed application • Signed Release of Liability form • Short artist biography

Join us for a special performance featuring Ballet Folklorico De La Rosa and Mariachi Juan Seguin from Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin. Experience the beauty, energy, and traditions of folklórico dance and mariachi music as we continue our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration Series.

The Seguin Coliseum is the place to be on Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 6 to 8 pm to learn everything there is to know about progress being made in the City of Seguin. Seguin Mayor Donna Dodgen and City Manager Steve Parker will break it all down in an informative presentation at the 2026 STATE OF THE CITY.

Bring your questions, get ready to meet the city council member serving your district, and visit with city staff at their department booths during this engaging, interactive and FREE event. Open to all residents.
