Today, Copper Ridge celebrated our 8th grade students during their promotion ceremony, as well as our tradition of a whole-school clap out! We are so proud of all of our promoting students and know they will continue to find success in high school. 🗽✨ 5th Grade Ellis Island Simulation ✨🗽
Our Copper Ridge 5th graders stepped back in time for an immersive Ellis Island simulation, experiencing what it was like for immigrants entering the United States. 🇺🇸📚
Students journeyed through four important stations, just as many immigrants once did—medical inspections, baggage checks, interviews conducted in a language different from their native one, and U.S. money exchange. Each station challenged them to think, adapt, and truly understand the emotions and experiences of those arriving in a new country.
This powerful, hands-on learning opportunity brought history to life, helping students build empathy and a deeper appreciation for the immigrant experience. 🌍💬

Our Copper Ridge 5th graders celebrated a huge milestone with an unforgettable Moving On Up Party at Great Wolf Lodge! 🎉 From splashing down water slides to enjoying time together outside the classroom, our Trailblazers created lasting memories as they wrapped up their elementary journey.
The day was filled with laughter, friendship, and well-deserved fun as students celebrated all their hard work and achievements. It was the perfect way to recognize their growth and get excited for the next chapter ahead! 🌟📚

Our Copper Ridge 8th graders brought the energy and excitement to this year’s Color Wars, with teams competing in an action-packed game of kickball! 💥⚽ Dressed in their team colors and full of school spirit, students showed off their teamwork, determination, and competitive spirit.
From big kicks and close plays to lots of laughter and cheering from the sidelines, the field was full of unforgettable moments. 🙌 It was a fun and meaningful way for our soon-to-be graduates to build memories together and celebrate their final weeks at Copper Ridge. 💙🖤

Mrs. Lugo’s second grade class brought the sunshine and island vibes to campus as they celebrated Hawaii Day during Spirit Week! Students showed off their creativity and enthusiasm by wearing their best Hawaiian attire—colorful leis, bright floral shirts, grass skirts, and plenty of smiles filled the room. ☀️🌸

🎉💼 Fourth Grade Marketplace Day Success! 💼🎉
Our fourth graders wrapped up their 4th quarter economics project in the most exciting way—Marketplace Day! 🛍️
Students applied their learning about supply and demand, budgeting, pricing, and entrepreneurship by creating their own businesses. From handmade goods to creative games and services, each group worked hard to design products, set prices, and attract customers.
The room was buzzing with energy as students took on real-world roles—selling, buying, problem-solving, and collaborating. They demonstrated incredible creativity, teamwork, and financial literacy skills throughout the event.
We are so proud of our young entrepreneurs for their hard work, innovation, and enthusiasm! 👏✨ Thank you to everyone who supported this meaningful learning experience.
