🐎 Mustang Pride in Action!

This past Thursday, Mrs. Aubrey and Mr. Hammonds had the pleasure of attending a special luncheon with Dr. Harrison, Interim Superintendent of Public Schools of Robeson County, at Fairmont High School!

As members of the district's Teacher Advisory Council, they enjoyed an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share perspectives on education across our county.

A special thank-you to Fairmont High School and its talented culinary students for their wonderful hospitality and service! 👏

Proud to represent South Robeson Middle School!🐎

🌎🌿 Ecosystems Come to Life at South Robeson! 🐾🔬

Our 7th grade scientists have been busy learning about ecosystems in Ms. Essence’s Science class! This week, students brought their learning to life by creating their very own shoebox ecosystems, showcasing their creativity and understanding of the natural world! 🌱🌎

We love seeing our Mustangs take what they learn in the classroom and turn it into something amazing! 💚💛

A special thank you to our custodian, Anita McCall, and her church family for partnering with Mr. Burney and our Beta Club to encourage our students to support Relay for Life! Today at our Pink Out game, we proudly presented a check for $182. Every dollar makes a difference, and this is a small amount towards a BIG WIN in the fight against cancer! Together, we tackle more than football! 💗

10/14/2026

Tonight, we honored those we have lost to cancer, celebrated survivors, and stood in support of those still fighting. Our Beta Club showcased luminaries and pink ribbons around the track as a symbol of hope, love, and remembrance.

We are proud of our students for raising $182 for Relay for Life! Thank you to everyone who helped make tonight meaningful.

Together, we tackle more than football! 💗🏈

🎉 Congratulations, Mr. Jerald Locklear! 🎉

Our Mustang family is incredibly proud of Mr. Jerald for being named PSRC’s October 2026 Impact Award recipient for Classified Employees!

As our Head Custodian, Mr. Jerald is truly an invaluable part of South Robeson Middle School! Whether he's helping to keep our school running smoothly, driving a bus daily, or lending a helping hand to our staff, Mr. Jerald never hesitates to step up when someone needs him. His hard work, kindness, and dedication never go unnoticed!

It takes every single person in a school to make a strong team, and Mr. Jerald is a wonderful reminder that every role matters in making a difference for our students!

Thank you, Mr. Jerald, for all that you do! South Robeson is a better place because of you, and we are so fortunate to have you as part of our Mustang family!
