A printable absentee ballot request form can be found on the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina website. Look under the Government tab and then the Lumbee Board of Elections tab to find the information needed for the upcoming Special Election.

The Lumbee Tribe Election Board was not aware that the form was not printable. We are putting information out as we receive it and correcting anything that needs corrected as soon as we are made aware.

Remember, your vote counts.

The Lumbee Tribe Elections Board (LTEB) is seeking volunteers both in support of and opposed to the constitutional amendment to serve as observers at each polling site on June 23, 2026.

Volunteers must be eligible Lumbee voters.

The Lumbee Tribe Election Board will be setup Saturday, May 16, 2026 at UNCP. Stop by to pickup an absentee ballot request form, signup to be a judge, or to just get information about the upcoming Special Election.

The LTEB will not disenfranchise eligible Lumbee voters. Our commitment is to uphold a fair, transparent, and lawful election process that protects the voting rights of every qualified Lumbee citizen.

You may request an absentee ballot from May 11–22, 2026. Once the absentee ballot request form has been completely filled out and returned to PO Box 1799, Pembroke, NC 28372, a ballot will be mailed to you along with instructions.

After completing your secret ballot, please return it to PO Box 1799, Pembroke, NC 28372. Your returned secret ballot must be received in the post office box no later than 5:00 PM on June 22, 2026.
