💙💛 It's Feel Good Friday at Woodland! 🦅

We're kicking off our Feel Good Friday series by celebrating the incredible people who make Woodland such a special place!

🌟 This week's shout-out goes to Ian Henderson!

Nominated by fellow Eagle Andrea DeBruler, Ian is being recognized for his dedication, positivity, and teamwork! Even during the hustle and bustle of a busy school year, Ian brings a positive attitude, a willingness to learn new things, and a commitment to supporting those around him.

It's teammates like Ian who help make Woodland such a wonderful place to be! 💙💛

👏 Help us show Ian some Eagle love in the comments!

Third graders collaborated with partners on challenging math thinking tasks at the vertical whiteboards this week. Students were tasked with building as many arrays as possible using 24 plastic tiles and recording their work on the whiteboards.

Arrays help students understand multiplication by arranging objects into equal rows and columns.

Using tiles to build arrays can help students:
✅ Build and break apart numbers
✅ Recognize patterns
✅ Explain their own thinking
✅ Build confidence!
