Please join us for HSQRAB- A Celebration of Q***r Stories in SOMD on Wednesday, June 17 from 5:30-7:30pm at Calvert Library Prince Frederick. Learn how one oral history project collects and preserves Q***r history in Southern Maryland.

Calvert Library is pleased to welcome back Ben Egerman(he/him) from the Enoch Pratt Free Library. Ben will talk about LGBTQ+ history here in Maryland, found through primary source material. We are also excited to introduce Lily Crunkleton (she/her), an oral historian, preserving today's q***r stories, through HSQRAB—The History of Southern Maryland Q***r Recordings Archive Base.

This two-hour presentation will include presentations from both speakers, as well as an opportunity for LGBTQ+ audience members and allies to meet and share their own stories in community with one another.
