Thanks to grants from Comcast , we have resources that enable our clients to access technology they would otherwise not have. This is one of the many ways The Arc of Southern Maryland stands out. Our new Gardening Club officially kicked off yesterday, and it is a huge hit! 🌻🌿

Our gardeners got their hands dirty as they planted seeds and learned about what plants need to grow and thrive. The best part? Everyone got to name their plant! 🌱💚Some of the names were very creative, and a few clients even named their plants after staff members.

The clients had a wonderful time taking ownership of their plants and are already looking forward to watching them grow over the coming weeks.

Our volunteer group had a fantastic day at Advanced Architectural General Contracting LLC., one of our community partners, and working on a few office skills! 🎉

Our clients were warmly welcomed and had the chance to choose tasks, displaying their incredible skills, confidence, teamwork, and independence. We are grateful for our supportive community partners who provide meaningful opportunities for inclusion. 🌟
