Our mission is to create life-changing wishes for children battling critical illnesses. We are on a quest to grant the wish of every eligible child living in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Since it was established in 1983, The Oregon Chapter of Make-A-Wish has granted more than 4,400 wishes to local children in our community. Research shows a wish can give kids the strength to fight against and

even overcome a critical illness. A wish renews hope, uplifts spirits, and encourages the belief in the impossible. A wish forever transforms the lives of children, their families, and entire communities. It's through the strength of our great community that Make-A-Wish can continue granting wishes. This , we want to honor the bravery of wish kids like Oaklyn.

At just 5 years old, she has already faced more than any child should have to. During her wish trip, she traded hospital stays for unforgettable moments, spending her days meeting princesses and experiencing the magic with her family.

"It was like a big reward at the end of a really hard thing. I spent a lot of time at the hospital, and it was not fun at all! But then, getting to go to my wish was so much fun. It made my heart full of love,” said Oaklyn about her wish.

Wish Alum Joseph is turning his passion into hope and joy for future wish kids! ✨

At this year’s Malheur County Fair, Joseph auctioned off his steer and raised an incredible $17,000 and counting to help grant life-changing wishes for local children. As someone who knows the impact of a wish firsthand, his generosity and dedication make this gift even more meaningful.

We are so grateful for Joseph, his family and everyone who supported the auction, including the amazing people at the Malheur County Fair and the Malheur County Junior Livestock Committee who helped make this amazing fundraiser possible. 💙🪄
