Known nationally for being one of the top detachments in the country, Detachment 695 is a place for aspiring Air Force officers to grow and develop. Cadets learn how to manage their time, work under pressure, and make sound judgments in all types of situations. The motto of Detachment 695 is Ignis Intus, which means “The Fire Within.” Each cadet has an inner fire that is cultivated and fed here at

University of Portland. Detachment 695 prepares young men and women to be some of the finestofficers commissioned into the United States Air force, and that is no light undertaking.

LLAB 14 closed out the semester with our Awards Ceremony and Change of Command.

We recognized the accomplishments of cadets across the wing, celebrating both individual achievements and our Honor and Warrior Flights who exemplify teamwork at its best.

We also heard parting words from our 2026 graduates and officially welcomed our new Cadet Wing Commander.

A strong finish to the semester and a reflection of the people who make this det what it is.
