We are recruiting to fill five Commission positions that will help set strategic guideposts for how Portland will look, feel and function now and into the future. Planning Commissioners play an important role in responding to community feedback and making recommendations to City Council on long-range planning projects related to housing, economic development, environmental planning and more!

We are also recruiting a Youth Commissioner between the ages of 18 and 25! Given the future-oriented nature of planning, a youth perspective is particularly important.

This 1–10 rating gives homeowners and buyers a clearer picture of a home’s energy efficiency, estimated energy costs and opportunities to improve comfort and affordability. More than just a score, this data is also a roadmap for making Portland homes healthier, safer, more comfortable and more energy efficient.
