Yesterday during our meeting, we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful speaker, Decker Gillette. Decker participated in our Rotary Youth Exchange program as an exchange student in the Netherlands and returned to share his exciting experiences abroad with us.

We are so proud of Decker and equally proud of our exchange program.

It was wonderful to welcome Darli with to our Pleasanton North Rotary Club on Friday!

Darli shared the incredible work they are doing to provide books for children and families in the NICU and PICU, bringing comfort, connection, and hope during some of the most difficult moments families can face. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn more about this meaningful mission and the impact it is making in our community.

Breaking News from Pleasanton North Rotary 🔔

Captain Pete thought he had me locked down tighter than a golf glove. Eyes on me the whole meeting, or so he thought. Turns out even the most watchful captain blinks eventually, and that’s all the time my captor needed.

I’ve been having a blast out here, soaking up some adventures I never got to have while Captain Pete had me on lockdown. But don’t worry, President Mulligan, I’ll be back soon.

Well folks… President Ms. Mulligan hosted her first meeting of the year and already needed a do-over.

The bell has officially been “lost.” 🏌️‍♀️

Special shoutout to our fearless Captain-at-Arms, who clearly interpreted “protect the bell” as “practice your backswing and look the other way.” Impeccable form. Zero defense.

Pleasanton North Rotary is proud to announce that Deb Covert has officially been installed as our President for the coming year!

In true Rotary tradition, every president earns a fun nickname and with Deb’s love of golf in retirement, it’s only fitting that we welcome “President Mulligan” to the tee! 🏌️‍♀️😉

We are all looking forward to her leadership, her energy, and yes… all the shenanigans that are sure to come along with it. If her golf game is any indication, she knows how to take a swing, adjust when needed, and keep things moving forward with a smile.
