Leo is a sweet, playful boy who came to Animal Control after his owner was moved into a care facility and the family was unable to take on his care.

Leo will be 2 years old in January, is FELV/FIV negative, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. He is good with children and seems to do well with other cats.

Absolutely NO dogs.

🐔 Chickens, Chickens, Chickens! Let’s Talk Chickens!

There are more and more residents keeping chickens, so let’s talk about the rules!

Did you know that you must have a permit through the Town of Phillipsburg to keep chickens on your property?

At this time, there are only five properties in Phillipsburg that are currently permitted to have chickens.

If you currently have chickens, please stop by the Phillipsburg Municipal Building to obtain the appropriate permit information and find out if your property qualifies.

The permit is $50 per year and must be renewed annually in January.

Please take a moment to review the E-Code regulations regarding chickens so you understand the requirements before keeping chickens on your property.

If you have chickens and do not currently have a permit, please get the information you need and make sure you are in compliance.
