Have you heard about this coming Saturday's free special event for families on South Side? The Edible Walkway Parade and Picnic is hosted by Blue Zones Activate Easton and the Mayor's Office of Special Events.

The parade, lead by the Big Easy Easton Brass Band, will begin at 11:30 AM next to Pioneer Park and Cheston Elementary School. It will march down W. Lincoln Sr, take a left on Packer Street, and then turn into Heil Park at the football field. Everyone is encouraged to march behind the band and dance in the street or watch along the route. Feel free to bring kazoos or drums and anything else that’s fun and festive!

The picnic will take place in the parking lot next to the football field, with free hot air balloon rides on the field itself. The picnic will run from noon until 6 pm, and will include a stage with live music, bouncy houses for kids, free farm dogs and drinks, and some other activities as well. Free!
