We were honored to be the recipient of TEKnowledge Worldwide's 5th Annual TEKSGiving!

Technology professionals and volunteers from across North America came together to make a difference at both of our Houses through major technology upgrades.

This week, we celebrated the amazing McDonald’s teams in our region for all they do to support local Ronald McDonald Houses and the families we serve. All year long, McDonald’s team members make a real difference through our Round-Up program, contributions from Happy Meal sales, proceeds from Shamrock Shake and Shamrock McFlurry sales, and much more. Thank you for being an incredible partner in our efforts to provide comfort and hope for families on their children's medical journeys!

Celebrating 52 Years!

Today, Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia celebrates 52 years of providing comfort, care, and community to families with children receiving medical treatment.

This year, we have so much to celebrate!

We opened a new playground at our Chestnut Street House and a sensory garden at our Front & Erie House, creating special spaces for families to play, relax, and connect.

We also celebrated two special milestones: 40 years of Ronald McDonald House Camp and 20 years of our Ronald McDonald House Family Room in the oncology unit at CHOP. Both programs provide comfort and support to families throughout their children's healthcare journeys.

Our work is made possible by the generosity of our incredible community of supporters, volunteers, and partners.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Champions of Hope Dinner as we celebrated two incredible milestones — 40 years of Ronald McDonald Camp and 20 years of our Ronald McDonald Family Room at CHOP Oncology!

For decades, these programs have provided comfort, connection, and joy to children and families facing difficult medical journeys. Your generosity helps us continue to support families beyond the walls of our Houses.

For the Odom family, being together means everything.

After months when 17-month-old twins Harper and Piper spent significant time apart during Harper’s cancer treatment, their stay at Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia has given them the chance to simply be sisters again.

“Seeing them be sisters is the greatest gift,” their mom, Courtney, shared.

This year’s Dr. Audrey E. Evans Award of Excellence recipients are Stephanie Fooks-Parker, MSW, LSW, OSW-C, and Anne Wohlschlaeger, RN, MSN, CRNP!

For more than 25 years, Stephanie and Anne have helped provide the medical and emotional support that makes Ronald McDonald House Camp a safe and special place for our campers.

As we celebrate 40 years of Camp, we’re especially grateful for their incredible dedication to our campers and families.

We’re proud to honor Marlene Weinberg with the Jimmy Murray Community Leadership Award at this year’s Champions of Hope!

A longtime business leader and advocate for Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia, Marlene has played an important role in supporting our growth, our programs, and the families we serve. She led both the capital campaigns for our Front & Erie Street House and the expansion at our Chestnut Street House.

After 27 nights at Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia, the Darby family is heading home!
Alex traveled to Philadelphia for treatment, with mom Maria by her side throughout their stay. While at the House, they spent time together participating in activities like Mindful Movement and enjoying the comfort and community of the House.
