Every year, thousands of volunteers come together to clean up little, beautify neighborhoods, and make a positive impact across our communities. 💚

Events scheduled from March 1 through May 31 receive free trash bags, gloves, and safety vests provided by support from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and PennDOT, as supplies last.

We know it has been a few weeks since we posted, this winter has been brutal.

We also know that it has been a few months since the EAC has met.

Please mark your calendars the next meeting and the first one of 2026 is Monday, March 2nd at 7:00 PM in Borough Hall.

We are preparing for another arctic blast in the coming days. Here are some easy tips if you find a bat in need of help.

The two bats in the photo are our frostbite girls, one being winter. They are doing well, but it will be a long road to recovery. It’s critical that bats receive professional, appropriate care. This increases their chances of survival and recovery. If you found a bat, please follow these simple instructions.
