Who takes care of the women who take care of everyone else? ❤️

So much of motherhood happens behind the scenes.

The mental load of remembering, planning, and anticipating everyone's needs. The emotional labor of showing up for others, even when we're running on empty. The endless balancing act of family, work, relationships, and the expectations placed on women every single day.

And so much of it goes unseen.

Here For You Concierge is bringing our community together for a screening of No Country for Mothers, a documentary that explores the realities of motherhood in America and the systems that shape the experience of raising a family.

Want to Do Something About Your Digital Footprint? Start Deleting.

Before you buy another cloud storage upgrade, take a look at what you're actually storing. We'd bet there's a LOT you don't need.

Try this little digital decluttering challenge:
Start with your oldest emails. Delete what you no longer need.

Unsubscribe from the lists you stopped reading years ago. Then search for that sender and delete the backlog.

Go through your oldest photos. Delete duplicates, blurry shots, screenshots and photos you have absolutely no reason to keep.

Tackle your videos.Those can take up a surprising amount of storage.

Clean out your cloud storage. Old downloads, duplicate documents and files from five years ago probably don't need to come with you into the future.

Empty your trash and “Recently Deleted” folders. Otherwise, some of that clutter is still hanging around.

And here's the hardest part: Be ruthless.

We tend to think that if something is digital, it doesn't really matter if we keep it. But digital clutter is still clutter. You don't have to clean up your entire digital life in one weekend. Pick one category, start with the oldest, and see how much you can let go.

And if you're looking at 50,000 photos thinking, “Absolutely not. I'm calling someone...”

Three Hours. Years of Paperwork. One Very Happy Client.

A LeTip member recently purchased a gift certificate for her daughter. We went to her apartment for three hours. Our mission? Tackle the paperwork.

She had piles that had been sitting around for months, and in some cases, years.

We created a simple filing system using broad categories and left-justified labels, a system we've used for many clients because it's easy to understand and easy to maintain. We worked through the paperwork throughout the entire apartment and got everything into an organized system.

And then we still had time left.

So we started preparing for her upcoming move. We helped her decide what should go into storage, what shouldn't, and how to pack and label things so she won't be digging through 27 mystery boxes six months from now.

We even shared one of our biggest storage tips: Don't put food in a storage unit.

And maybe think twice before storing things like paper towels and toilet paper, too. You're probably not going to be thrilled about using them after they've been sitting in storage.

Three hours didn't just make her apartment more organized. It gave her a fresh start, made her upcoming move easier, and gave her a system she can actually keep up with.

Sometimes the hardest part of organizing isn't knowing what to do. It's having someone there to help you do it.

What Happens When Your Business Is in One State… and You’re in Another?

You get a concierge.

One of our clients now lives out of state but continues to run his business here locally.

So while he's handling business from afar, we're handling some of the things that still need to happen here.

Every week, we:
📬 Check his local P.O. box
📄 Sort and organize his mail
💻 Provide remote computer assistance
🗂️ Help organize important digital files
🗑️ Delete years of files he no longer needs

This week, we tackled his old computer files. Years of digital clutter had accumulated, making it harder to find the things he actually needed. So we sorted, deleted, and organized.

Because here's the thing about clutter: It doesn't have to be physical to slow you down. A desktop full of random files can be just as frustrating as a desk covered in paperwork. And when you're running a business from another state, having someone you trust locally can make a pretty big difference.

That's concierge service - helping keep your life and business moving, even when you can't be there yourself.

A client recently called us because she had a pest problem in her garage. Her first thought was, “I need pest control.”

Our first thought was, “Let’s figure out what’s attracting them.”

We helped her clean out and organize the garage, and we recommended a pest control company we trust to take a look. After evaluating the situation, they told her something she probably didn't expect: She didn't actually need the treatment she had scheduled.

The clutter and conditions in the garage were the bigger issue. So instead of spending a couple hundred dollars on a service she didn't need, she was able to address the actual problem.

That's one of the things we love about what we do. We don't just come in and check off a list. We look at the bigger picture and help our clients find the simplest, most efficient solution.

Sometimes that means organizing a garage. And sometimes it means helping you realize you don't need to spend money on something after all.

Today is a day to celebrate the work we do, and maybe give ourselves permission to do a little less of it.

Whether it’s laundry, grocery shopping, meal prep, organizing, errands, or the never-ending household to-do list, you don't have to do everything yourself.

We hear a lot about data centers these days, and understandably, people have questions about their environmental impact and what their growth means for our communities.

But there’s another part of the conversation worth thinking about: Our own digital clutter.

The “cloud” isn't some magical place where our information floats around. Our emails, photos, videos, documents and files are stored on physical servers in data centers.

We're not suggesting that deleting 500 emails will stop a data center from being built. But collectively, our habit of storing everything forever contributes to an ever-growing mountain of digital information.

So maybe it's time to take a look at our own digital footprint. How many thousands of emails are sitting in your inbox that you'll never read again? How many duplicate photos are taking up storage? How many files are sitting in the cloud that you haven't opened in five years?

Not everything needs to be kept forever.

And the things that do matter? Those deserve to be intentionally organized and preserved, not buried underneath years of digital clutter.

What if preserving a memory doesn’t mean keeping the thing?

A piece of jewelry can become a work of art.
A collection of music can bring comfort to someone else.
A photograph can become a doorway into a story I’ve heard a hundred times, or one I’m hearing for the very first time.

When I sorted through my mother’s belongings after her passing, I realized that the most important question wasn’t: “Should I keep this?”

It was: “How can I honor the story this represents?”

That simple shift changed everything for me. Because sometimes the story is more valuable than the object itself.
