Curious people of all ages are invited to our How-To Festival on Saturday, November 14th. Stop by any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to visit the various stations and activities throughout the library. Watch for information as to who will be attending and what activity they will showcase.

Books can be recycled into many things. At our next Coffee & Crafts session, we will be turning an old book into a unique mushroom that can be used as a fall centerpiece. We will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 5th in the library's lower-level meeting room. We appreciate our continued partnership with the Orrville YMCA for these monthly sessions.

This free program is for ages 16 and over. All supplies will be provided.

Stop by for this month's Preschool Play Lab on Wednesday, November 4th & 18th.

Designed for ages 2-5 (but older & younger siblings are welcome, too) we will have several stations with fun, hand-on activities designed to enhance early literacy skills and brain building. Drop in anytime between 1:30 and 4 p.m.

B. Dylan Hollis went on a cross-country journey to find 100 uniquely American dessert recipes. They are all compiled in "Baking Across America: A Vintage Recipe Road Trip," our November cookbook selection. You will find such recipe classics as Boston Cream Pie and larger-than-life Texas sheet cakes. There are delicious desserts from every state.

Pick up a copy of the cookbook and plan to come to our 6 p.m. meeting on Monday, November 2nd. Bring a dish or two to share with others, potluck style. No registration is necessary.
