I am so grateful to those who placed their trust in me with their votes, and with their help throughout this campaign. Good evening Orrville! Election Day begins in less than 12 hours, with polls open Tuesday from 6:30am-7:30pm. I have enjoyed this campaign and meeting new people in our community, and am so grateful for the support that I have received through it all, including a recommendation by the Education Association of Orrville-thank you!! Those who know me know my character, and know that my main goal in all of this is to work together to make sound decisions for our unique student body and to empower and equip our great group of teachers. This requires a listening ear, honesty, collaboration, communication, accountability, and an attitude of service. All of these things are my commitment to this community, especially to our students, who deserve a quality education in a safe environment. I don’t believe that compromise is a bad word, but rather a tool for action. So if you’ve made it this far, I just want to say thank you, and I humbly ask that you meet me in the middle and vote for Megan Middleton for Orrville School Board on Election Day!! 🗳️🇺🇸

Happy Friday Orrville! It’s been a busy, but awesome week getting involved with our schools and community organizations. From substitute nursing for our awesome elementary school nurse, hearing grant presentations for the Orrville Area United Way Citizens Review Committee, helping to make hundreds of smoothies for wellness day at the middle school, and chaperoning for the fourth grade field trip, I have ended the week with a full heart. I love this city, these students, and the village that surrounds and supports them. Have a fantastic weekend Orrville! Go Riders! ❤️🖤🤍

Meet your 2023 Citizen Review Committee (CRC). CRC is a group of community volunteers who live and/or work in Dalton, Marshallville, or Orrville. During this season, they give 30-40 hours to reading and evaluating grant applications, listening to live presentations, and working together to determine the best application of campaign donations to address our community's most pressing needs and make the greatest impact.

Hello Orrville! School is well underway and folks in our community have started to focus their attention on the upcoming November election, including the two Orrville school board seats that are up for election this year. This is an important election for our district and our community, and there has already been a lot of engagement among candidates and community members. I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Orrville City Schools Board of Education and this page will be a place where we can get to know each other. I look forward to engaging with you and hearing your thoughts and/or concerns, which I imagine will vary widely (that’s okay!!). I ask that we please engage in respectful and civil discussion!
