The past two days have been filled with meetings at the Capitol and across House District 47 focused on Water, Early Education, Aerospace, Workforce, and Economic Development.

While at the Capitol, I also had the opportunity to meet a wonderful couple from Virginia who are touring across Oklahoma. It was a great reminder that Tourism continues to be a major draw for our great state… bringing people here to experience our communities, our history, and all that Oklahoma has to offer.

Let’s continue to invest in ourselves and our future… for the future of HD47 and all of Oklahoma.

The festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Western Days begins Friday, Sept. 11 at 8 a.m. and features a chili cookoff, rodeo and more.

The influx of travelers means more revenue for businesses.

Grateful for the opportunity to speak for the exceptional graduates of the third cohort Graduation of the Manufacturing Skills Academy - MSA.
This Skills Academy continues to provide life-changing credentials over 20 weeks, changing the lives of countless at-risk young people in Central Oklahoma.

As one of our Top industries in Oklahoma and a projected need of an additional 1.3 million skilled workers in American manufacturing jobs by 2032, we must continue to prepare a strong and skilled Workforce for our families, our economy and the advanced manufacturing jobs of the future.

Imagine if we had an MSA paired with Manufacturing in 10 economic Hubs by 2035?

Love seeing innovation in Mustang and throughout HD47!

Excellent work by the Library team in applying for this grant to improve the lives of Mustang residents.

Please join us in ongoing prayers for the students, bus driver and Individual in the other vehicle who were involved in the rollover Mustang (OK) Public Schools bus crash today.
While our understanding is 3 students where taken to the hospital and all students are alright other than bruises, scrapes and clearly being shaken. However, the driver of the other vehicle remains in critical condition.
