The Marine Corps Risk Management Directorate held a two-day Rider Mentor Program Instructor Course (RMPIC) at MCAS Miramar, strengthening motorcycle discipline, situational awareness and overall safety. The program provides mentors better tools aimed at improving foundational motorcycle skills.

Bataan is currently undergoing regularly scheduled maintenance in the General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) shipyard in Norfolk, Virginia.
