✨💙National Convention Day 4💙✨

Today was the 4th and final day of the 2026 National FFA Convention! This morning, we had the honor of rooting Laynee Dunakey on as she received her American FFA Degree! This is the highest degree bestowed upon an FFA member and less than 1% of FFA members receive this degree! We are so proud of Laynee and the hardwork and determination that went into earning this huge accomplishment! Throughout the years of her SAE, she grew a very successful business in her community and surrounding communities which led her to be able to earn this degree! Congratulations Laynee, on this huge accomplishment! We are so proud of you! What a way to cap off your FFA career! 💛💙

✨💙National Convention Day 3💙✨
Today we started at the Career Show and Expo! We took lots of pictures, talked to lots of people, and learned many new things! We then went to Ozark Fisheries in Martinsville for a tour! We learned about their goldfish and koi business, how they spawn, grow, and sell! We then ended the night at TopGolf with lots of laughter, a little bit of competition, and a few bad swings! It was another great day of making memories and connections!

We are super excited for Day Four where we will get to see our very own, Laynee Dunakey, receive her American FFA Degree! The culmination of years of hard work and dedication! 💙💛

✨💙National Convention Day 2💙✨

We started off our morning with a great tour at Timmons Feed & Farm Supply! After that we headed to the Career Show and Expo for a quick trip where members got to talk to different companies and colleges and do a little FFA shopping. We then attended the 2nd general session where they announced National Afro Science Fair winners, top middle school chapter’s, proficiency winners, CDE and LDE winners, and we got to hear the Eastern Region Vice President, Joey Nowotny’s retiring address! For our evening activity we enjoyed riding go carts! We ended the night at Olive Garden for some dinner! It was another great day at convention and we are looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures!

Today's the day!! It's Chicken Dinner day!!

To make the traffic flow correctly, please enter the parking lot on the south end and follow straight to the north end of the parking lot (the practice field) and then follow left and back around in front of the greenhouse and toward the cafeteria doors. You will pull up and hand your tickets to an FFA member. They will grab your meals and bring them out to you. You will not need to exit your car at all :)

Thanks for supporting us and we look forward to seeing you all from 3:30 - 5:30 pm!

Tonight, three of our first year members, Frankie Bright, Addy Just, and Zach Hubner traveled to Lincoln Land Community College for their Greenhand Conference. While at the conference, they were split into groups and attended 4 different leadership building workshops, they enjoyed some pizza and then heard a great keynote address by the State FFA Secretary, Owen Rigg. They all had a great time and are looking forward to the next event!
