STOP AND GIVE THIS YOUNG LADY A ROUND OF APPLAUSE!! 👏❤️

One of our amazing young patrons had a booth sale featuring items she made herself and decided to include a donation basket for the library. This afternoon, she stopped by to deliver her donation, and let's just say… WOW!!

A creative mind, a generous heart, and a whole lot of library love! We think that's pretty incredible!

It makes our day to see young people dreaming up ways to make a difference in their community. Thank you for sharing your talents and thinking of your library. You ROCK!! ❤️📚

🍎 A SMASHING GOOD TIME! 🍎

We had an amazing group of students join us for Apple Sauce Making Day! There was plenty of laughter, a little friendly competition (that apple-peeling contest got serious! 😉), and lots of delicious fun!

A HUGE thank-you to all the parents who jumped in to help! Your extra hands made the day a success, and we couldn't have done it without you!

A special THANK YOU to Murphy Orchard in Marionville, MO, for generously donating the apples that made our day possible! 🍎

And the big winner? FUJI APPLES! They were the favorite choice of the day!

Thanks to everyone who came out, rolled up their sleeves, and made this such a fun afternoon. Take a peek at some of the fun! 📸

🐻🧳 A LITTLE PAUSE IN OUR FAIRYTALE ADVENTURES! 🌍📚

🚧 NO STORYTIME OR TOT TIME on Wednesday, November 4! The library will be undergoing maintenance, so our little travelers will have to take a one-week break.

But don’t worry! Our adventures with Parker Passport Bear aren’t over! ✈️🐻

🌍📚 Join us the following week as we pack our bags and travel to a new destination for more stories, songs, and fairytale fun!

We are thrilled to welcome Michelle Griep, Christy Award-winning author, to the Mt. Vernon Branch Library on Tuesday, November 10th, at 10:00 AM! 🎉
In anticipation of her visit, our Inspirational Book Club is diving into Michelle’s "The Bird at Bedford Manor" for discussion and to explore more of her wonderful work leading up to this special event!
Want to join us in getting to know Michelle’s writing? Copies of "The Bird at Bedford Manor" are available for checkout at the Mt. Vernon Branch Library!
During her visit, Michelle will discuss her newest release, "Belle’s Christmas Carol", share insights into her writing journey, and give readers an opportunity to learn more about her work. Copies of her featured book will be available for purchase at a special promotional price of just $10, with fans and newcomers alike invited to discover her enchanting stories.
