Big thanks to our incredible Special Education team!

Our SPED teachers and paraprofessionals have been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth start to the year for staff and students. To show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication, we decided to treat them to their favorite Sonic drinks.

When our local Sonic heard what we were doing, they generously stepped up and donated all the drinks for our team!

We are so grateful for a community partner like Sonic Drive-In that supports our educators, and even more thankful for our amazing SPED staff who go above and beyond for our students every single day.

Enjoy your Sonic drinks, team-- you’ve earned them!

We just want to clarify some information from this afternoon at the Intermediate School. As students were loading buses, an air-conditioning unit required a part to be replaced. One of the parts was hot, so our maintenance staff responded and replaced it. As they took care of it, staff took students out to the buses a few minutes early as a precaution.

There was no emergency at the school. No fire truck was called to the Intermediate School, and no emergency vehicles were on school property. Some emergency vehicles were traveling north on Highway 39 at the time, but they were not responding to the school.

We value clear communication with our families and will always strive to share information as soon as possible if an emergency arises.

Thankful for our MT’NEER Team!

When an unexpected water issue arose at MVIS, our maintenance and custodial crews, teachers, staff, and administrators worked together to get everything cleaned up quickly. Thank you to everyone for their teamwork!

We’re grateful for a school community that always comes together! 💚
