Happy Respiratory Care Week to all the therapists out there. We appreciate the hard job you do. And we're particularly proud of our Cub Crew RTs. You guys amaze us every time we go out!

A question we're asked frequently is, "How far do y'all go to transport someone?". Well, the answer is usually, "As far as we need to.". Here's a recent shot of us on the pad at University Medical Center in New Orleans after dropping off a patient from a scene call in Mississippi.

We're proud to have the training and equipment to successfully care for our smallest patients.

When it comes to pediatric care, precision is paramount. We’re proud that Air Methods clinicians are achieving over 90% first-attempt intubation success on pediatric airways – surpassing industry standards. They also carry the equipment and medications children require, ensuring they receive the most effective treatment possible. It's not just about the numbers. It's about giving children the best chance at a healthy future.

We'll always take the time to show off what we do to the next generation of first responders. Today we got to visit with George County High School's Dual Credit EMT class and their legendary instructor Mr. John Glass. Thanks for having us!!

As we wrap up Shark Week 2026, it's a great time to remind everyone the proper way to do CPR. Remember, you're more likely to do CPR on a friend or family member than a stranger!

It's Shark Week!! Be sure to stay safe while you're enjoying our local waters.

Getting the week started right with two patient flights before lunch! But we're never too busy for a quick aircraft tour for some student nurses. And we're happy to have our primary aircraft back after being in a loaner for a few weeks. Welcome home, Big Red! We missed you!
