Fresh ingredients make a big difference!

A special thank you to TC Food Justice for donating fresh ingredients to support Agate's SEED culinary training program.

These donations give program participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with fresh ingredients and preparing a variety of meals while also helping provide nutritious food to individuals accessing our services.

Exciting news! Say hello to Agate on 3rd!

We're thrilled to announce that Agate has officially purchased 312 South 3rd Street in downtown Minneapolis!

This new space will become a central hub for our Welcome Center, Housing Services, Street Outreach and administrative teams, bringing more of our work together under one roof.

This is an exciting new chapter for Agate and the communities we serve!

October is Hygiene Need Awareness Month!

Access to basic hygiene products is essential for health, confidence and dignity. Yet many individuals and families struggle to afford everyday necessities like soap, shampoo and toothpaste.

These sandwiches will help provide meals to individuals staying in Agate's shelters and those served by our Street Outreach team. Food is more than a meal. It's a connection to our culture, our families, and our history. 🧡

This Indigenous Peoples' Day, we're celebrating how our SEED program honors the cultures and traditions of its participants.

As Indigenous and BIPOC participants build their culinary skills, they're also learning to prepare dishes using ingredients and cooking traditions that reflect their cultures and family stories.

It's a chance to celebrate where they come from while preparing meals for guests at Agate's shelters.

A special thank you to TC Food Justice for providing locally sourced bison and wild rice to help bring these traditions into our kitchen!

The mobile medical unit is at The Valiance today! 🧡

Community Drop-In is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 2810 27th Ave S. Stop by for mobile medical care, showers, laundry, hygiene supplies, lunch and other support.

No appointment is needed. Come by and connect with the resources you need.
