Each year for the past 10 years Bethesda M. Church has been the organizing lead in an outreach to the Elliot Park Community. Fellowship Without Walls occurs on the fourth weekend of August each year in Elliot Park. The primary objective of Fellowship Without Walls is to connect the Elliot Park community with vital resources; health awareness and screening, social services programs, safety awarenes
s, jobs programs, and spiritual well being awareness. Our mission is to help people help themselves. Fellowship Without Walls atmosphere is carnival like, offering concessions, food, music, games, and Inflatable castles for all. In 2014 Fellowship Without Walls served 1,200 individuals. Some participating organizations last year were Augustana Health Care Center, Bethlehem Baptist Church, North Central University, HCMC, Minneapolis Police Dept, MEDICA, Twin Cities Rise, Volunteers of America, Minneapolis Aids Project, Metro Hope Ministries, and a host of others totaling 25 participating organizations.
