📸📊 Throwback Thursday! 📊📸

On June 3, our College Stats class collected data using pull-back cars, then used that information to create a model to predict and calculate different distances the cars could travel. 🚗💨

To wrap up a year of learning, students put their models to the test by racing their cars and competing to see who could get closest to the finish line! 🏁

What a fun, hands-on way to bring math to life and celebrate a year of growth in statistics! 💙🧡

One week ago, our hallways were filled with all kinds of emotions as students headed out for summer break. Some were all smiles and excitement, while others were a little tearful saying goodbye to their teachers, friends, and the routines that made the school year so special. 💙🧡

Even though we're just one week into summer, we already miss seeing our students in the classrooms, hallways, and cafeterias each day. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in the fall for another great year as Chargers! ⚡

Congratulations to our athletes who participated in the OHSAA State Track Meet over the past few days! What an incredible accomplishment to compete at the state level! 👏

Our 4x800 team competed in the finals yesterday. Congratulations to Kellen McDonnell, Trey Hines, Will Corfman, and Mason Leber! 🏅

Claire Michaelis ran in the finals of the 800m today - an outstanding performance, and we look forward to seeing even more success in her future! 🌟

A special congratulations to Trevor Leimeister for reaching the podium in the finals of the 100m, earning 8th place! 🥉

💚🥒 Pickle Taste Test Fun! 🥒💚

During the school year, Mrs. Ineson and Mrs. Smith’s classes got to experience pickle flavored foods. From pickled string cheese to pickled chips and pretzels along with traditional gherkins, students had a fun time exploring new flavors. 😋

The pickle flavored puff balls were a fan favorite! 🎉💚

Students love fun and silly ways to try something new and enjoy learning together! 💙🧡

School personnel recently named Edison High School Students of the Quarter! These students were recognized for their outstanding achievement across a variety of academic areas and received certificates of merit to celebrate their success. 👏💙🧡

The Student of the Quarter program was initiated in 1990 by Edison faculty and members of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE). The purpose of the program is to honor and acknowledge students who achieve significant success in various academic fields. 🌟

As you close this chapter and prepare to begin your high school journey, we want to congratulate you on all you have accomplished during your years at Edison Middle School.

It has been an honor to be part of your story. We've shared laughter, learned together, explored new places, overcome challenges, and celebrated countless successes along the way. We have watched you grow not only as students, but as individuals, leaders, teammates, artists, musicians, and friends.
