Today in the Fire 2 program, we focused on emergency bailout techniques—skills we hope we never have to use, but train for in case seconds matter.
We practiced rope bailouts and headfirst ladder bailouts, learning how to escape quickly from upper floors when conditions become too dangerous. These are last-resort, survival-based techniques used in extreme situations when traditional exits are no longer an option.
Training like this pushes us outside our comfort zones, but builds the muscle memory and confidence needed to react under pressure.
Every skill we learn is another step toward being prepared for the worst, so we can give our best when it matters most.
